With added bonus of CGI or not watch how they killed whales and harvested the oil.(it’s brutal!) And did I mention all the other tragedies: facing squalls in a lightweight boat, and one young man gets killed so the others could survive…

If all that gives you those Christmas cozy feelings then uhm yes it’s the perfect Holiday film! ;)

I’d love BBC One to air this on a Sunday evening at 21.00 pm as it is a one off drama, would fit the schedule perfectly. And fingers crossed Discovery will make a documentary to go along with it. I’m hoping for sometime during the halfterm Autumn break (end of October) but ehy I’m not the BBC One drama controller lol :D

But never really advertised it. I’m sure the idea is to test it over as many parameters as possible : large cities AND small towns , across a diverse group of audiences to see how each react to the scenes – story – editing.

I’m sure they’re asked to fill in a form with questions like what can be improved? what did you think – feel while watching this particular scene? etc..

They just want to make sure the finished film will appeal and strike a cord with as many people as possible so that’s why test – screenings are so useful. :)
