Walking with the Enemy – Release date pushed back to 2013

It doesn’t come as a huge surprise to see that the release date of Walking with the Enemy has yet again been pushed back sadly. :(

IMDB now states a release date of 2013 in the USA. Fingers crossed 2013 will be THE year for the project and the entire team of cast & crew! We all know from the many preview shots and trailers that Jonas Armstrong will be an amazing lead as Elek Cohen! Some lucky ones already managed to see the film during preview screenings, who all said it was a brilliant film. (see Facebook)

So let’s all keep our fingers crossed for Walking with the Enemy, so that we can all enjoy watching it on the big screen next year! :D

Many thanks to @iheartwjarmstro (Dani) for the heads up on this :D Yes The Glass House has been renamed into…’Walking with the Enemy‘. To be honest I like it for two things: there were already 2 or even 3 other movies & documentares with ‘The Glass House’, also a famous concert hall in the USA, making it particularly difficult to navigate news via google :( It kept giving search results for all the other movies but the version we are all interested about: the 2012 version!

Changing the name into ‘Walking with the Enemy’ solves that problem instantly. :D It also refers more to Jonas Armstrong’s character of ‘Elek Cohen’ as that is what he ultimately does in the film: he blends in with the Nazis, pretending to be one of them, all while helping out as many people as he can to bring them into safety.

However I cannot imagine the headache for Liberty Studios  of having to change absolutely everything they have posted thus far! Seriously from the trailer, to the gallery pics & screenshots, let  alone the entire website!! *facepalm* They’ve to re-brand the whole lot, that my dears is bound to take some time…unless they’ve worked at it silently since January or so, as this is MAJOR work!

On that note will try not to moan too much on that same work that attends me…as uhm I’ll have to re-name every mention of The Glass House into Walking with the Enemy or it will be a mess when movie comes out (posting news to existing pages etc). But I really do like the name change! *thumbs up*

First of all would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has visited the site in the past few months! Cannot believe already passed the 50.000 views since I started in November with the blog *thud*  Also thanks to anyone who has left a comment or has ‘liked’ a post etc…very much appreciated :D

Of course it’s all due to the lovely talented Jonas Armstrong, and I’m very glad that with Prisoners’ Wives and Robin Hood currently airing in Germany (and is being repeated in Belgium) it seems to spark new interest! =)

Spring has officially arrived! YAY lol, so here’s the wallpaper for April. Thought I’d give the whole digital scrapbook thing a try, and safe to say it’s a lot of fun! ;) It was a lot of fun, but quite a lot of work too… Normally I don’t care all that much what you end up doing with what I post on the blog, but in this case if you wish to re-post / re-blog etc. At least mention a link to the site if you will. Thanks! :)

Not sure how they do it, but the website team over at the official The Glass House site, do a wonderful job by updating the gallery & stills! Every time I visit, seem to stumble on new stills with Jonas Armstrong  :D You find most under ‘gallery’ but also under ‘synopsis’ =)

And of course there’s also the official facebook page containing over 100 pictures! So don’t miss it, it’s a nice treat wile we wait for a release date. ;)

As we all know 31 of December is always a bit special since not only do we celebrate New Year’s Eve, at 00. 01 am on January 1st we also wish Jonas Armstrong a very Happy Birthday :D

Time to take stock of 2011 & it has really been a very good year career wise! He’s never been as busy since 2009, with 2010 being a rather dull year.
