Aww had my fingers crossed for Prisoners’ Wives being nominated for Best Drama at the BAFTA’s but sadly not to be this year. :-( I wonder if it’s to do with havig the bulk of the series airing after February 15…not sure.

But congratulations to Sherlock with 3 nominations! :D

Prisoners’ Wives – Series 2 but without Jonas Armstrong

Well it doesn’t come as a huge surprise. The lovely @TeamRigby confirmed today that Prisoners’ Wives will have a second series, but without ‘Steve & Gemma’ appearing in it. Guess they have tied all the loose ends of their story and so this leaves room for some new characters to come in. That said will continue to float on river DeNial and just imagine those two have sorted it all out in the end anyway ;) haha (yes really am a fan of happy endings lol :P )

But even without Jonas Armstrong and Emma Rigby, really glad the series will continue! Hope to see more of Harriet, Fran & Lou =)

Added a collection of promo & stills from all three Robin Hood series in the gallery archive (2006-2009). For the ones who saw the show when it aired, I doubt very much there’ll be many new pics you haven’t seen before. For the newcomers to the Jonas fandom, hope it will inspire you to watch the series :D

As I said before the gallery archive will simply provide a small selection of pics and screen caps as I frankly see no point in uploading over 3GB worth of Robin Hood caps when you can find them all at Hoodwinked and other websites ;)

Prisoners’ Wives – BAFTA consideration

Bafta, BBC One, Prisoners' Wives, Tiger Aspect

I wish I had noticed it sooner but still…the online voting for Bafta members are still in full swing so thought this couldn’t do any harm ;)

There’s no denying that this year has been packed with excellent TV dramas: Sherlock, Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey, Upstairs – Downstairs so there’ll be lots of competition in the TV Baftas best drama category for sure. Yet I really hope Prisoners’ Wives will get nominated! Found it very similar to The Street in terms of quality, so fingers crossed BAFTA will be thinking the same :D

The nominations will be announced on 24th April!

Last sets of screen caps for Prisoners’ Wives now available in the gallery :D

I really like to take screen caps, and anyone saying it’s bloody hard work, is such a fibber in my opinion, as there’s nothing more fun & interesting to see Jonas at work in slow-motion!

I really cannot recommend it enough, to try and do it yourselves,  it is really fascinating and the acting really is all in the eyes! *WOW*

Now with this episode, it was rather very sad , gosh if you thought watching those scenes were heartbreaking, you should see Jonas’s performance slowed down, it’s just argh , very sad indeed :( But again outstanding performance by Jonas Armstrong for making us grab the kleenex tissues (again lol).
