Full credit goes to Dani (@iheartwjarmstro) for this news as she retweeted a tweet from actor @CharlesHubbell – who plays Eichmann in Walking with the Enemy and I hold my hand up didn’t follow until two minutes ago *ahem*
This is the second part of the Twenty8K preview. During and after filming, online articles emerged with on set interviews and early galleries – stills as well. I’m going to compile the best ones here. Click on the links to read the full interviews!
June 9, 2011 Seen-It. com (on set – interviews) Jonas Armstrong:“I really can’t stress enough how difficult, yet how important it is to get home grown independent films off the ground, which are relevant to this day and age and relevant to our society in general.”

You’ll find lots more stills when you click the link but these two are with Jonas as Clint O’Connor (notice his real tattoo ;p ).
There’s one film I’m particularly looking forward to next year and that one is Twenty8K It’s a gritty conspiracy thriller from the hand of Paul Abbott (State of Play BBC , Exile BBC & Shameless) shot on location in Paris but mostly in London (Greenwich and Olympic Park area) in April – May 2011.
The plot : A teenage boy is gunned down outside a nightclub and a young girl dies in a hit and run in two seemingly unrelated deaths. Deeva Jani, returns home to clear her brother Vipon of the shooting and soon discovers a much deeper conspiracy.
Parminder Nagra (Alcatraz, E.R., Bend it like Beckham) plays the lead character of Deeva. Jonas Armstrong plays Clint O’Connor an ex-gang member, now social youth worker who helps Parminder’s character clearing her brother’s name. The rest of the cast looks just as amazing with Nichola Burley , Kaya Scodelario , Kierston Wareing and Stephen Dillane.
The Twenty8K team have been / still are a real joy to follow on twitter as they tweeted during the whole shoot, and now still do to keep us updated with the post-production process. So if you are on twitter I really recommend to follow the lovely producer @Nooclar (Martin Carr) , the amazing and funny sound recording artist @Nigelsoundspeed (Nigel Albermaniche) , @WarnerStephens , @Twenty8K who updates regularly with the official blog and the cast are also on twitter : @parmindernagra and @Nichola_Burley. The day Jonas will ever join twitter is when hell freezes over I think ;p
I’ll add a lot more info and interviews, promoshots etc in the next post but I leave you with the first behind the scenes clip
