Here we go again, another month has past so time for another Jonas Armstrong calendar wallpaper. Well it had to be Malta really this month. Hoping filming continues to go smoothly.
Taking inspiration from some of the filming locations for BBC’s The Whale and the pictures Jassa posted on twitter. We might not be able to go there and experience the lovely sunshine for ourselves but at least we can enjoy the views on our PC’s iPad etc…
If you’re looking for any of the previous calendar wallpapers: I’ve now put them all together under the top menu item ‘Wallpapers‘ above the header image.
Btw good luck to everyone who has to study for exams this month!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend celebrating Easter or not…and had lots of chocolate to eat! I know I did
So Spring you say? Really?! Haven’t noticed myself with those freezing temperatures and cloudy grey skies, oh and more snow is forecast too. *Facepalm* Anyhow April has arrived so another wallpaper was needed and since Hit & Miss is in full swing in more countries around Europe besides Belgium (YAY ), thought I might use it as the theme of the month.
Hope you enjoy and as always thanks for reading my drabbles! =)
Is it just me or did February cruise by in a flash? March is here which means Spring will be on its way soon I hope,as the grey cloudy days are getting quite boring now!
I’ve chosen Miss Marple The Secret of Chimneys as this month’s wallpaper subject. Readers from Belgium and the Netherlands will sure know that the digital TV channel 13 Street is showcasing this particular Miss Marple episode with Jonas Armstrong at least once every few weeks.
Hands up who are glad January is over? *Raises hand* Honestly really glad to see the back of January as spent most of the month ill in bed with flu and bronchitis Pfft But Yay February is here and days are slowly getting longer, and there’s a good chance of seeing some sunshine and mild temperatures too.
Yes I’ve got high hopes for February.
Made the following wallpaper years ago actually but still like it a lot! Also if you happen to watch Once Upon a Time Season 2…you might just notice Killian Jones/ Captain Hook could be related to Robin Hood! Ah it would be so awesome if somehow the nice LOST people would cast Jonas Armstrong as their version of Robin Hood in Once Upon a Time but guess it’s wishful thinking on my part.
Happy New Year everyone! A new year means a new start of the calendar… so here it is: January 2013! Apparently 2013 is the first year since 1987 where all four digits are different (QI fact)
Went back to the beginning with this one, good ol’ 2006 =D
Time really is flying! Here we are: November has arrived. It’s not my favourite month of the year at all as it’s often wet, windy and it’s really getting chilly in the evenings…not forgetting it gets dark at like 15.00 in the afternoon! (Unless of course you live on the other side of the world and you’ve got summer on your doorstep lol) But enough about the doom & gloom of November!
As we are after all nearing the end of 2012, thought it’d be great to do some sort of scrapbook – collage of the public appearances & interviews Jonas has done this year. Featuring the promo work Jonas Armstrong has done for the amazing Hit & Miss and brilliant gritty thriller Twenty8k. (if you haven’t watched them yet…what are you waiting for? Both available to buy on DVD )
Hope you guys like it! And as always many thanks to you all for visiting the site, especially as in two weeks time will be celebrating the First Year Anniversary of the Blog! ( I do wonder if the Doctor is messing with the Time in his Tardis you know… )

Like last time, you can choose a wallpaper with or without the November calendar.
Believe it or not but this weekend we celebrate SIX yes 6 years of fandom! Robin Hood first aired on the 7th of October on BBC One back in good ol’ 2006; with Jonas Armstrong as the very charming, cheeky medieval hero (2006 – 2009). It was this following preview trailer promoting the series the week before (after Strictly Come Dancing) that got me hooked
So not only do we celebrate the Robin Hood fandom, but also that of Jonas Armstrong! And what an incredible six years it’s been With projects like ‘The Street‘ and his first feature film ‘Book of Blood‘ to all of the following in 2012: the amazing ‘Prisoners’ Wives‘, the ground-breaking awesome ‘Hit and Miss‘ and the full on original and gritty ‘Twenty8k‘. It really has been tremendous fun to follow Jonas’ career so far, and see the portrayal of all these very different characters. Showcasing his ability to play an emblematic hero, an emotionally haunted soldier returning from Afghanistan, a confused boyfriend finding out his GF is transgender and the occasionally not so good guys… Really enjoyed watching all of these performances & projects; and it’s great that the fun is set to continue with the latest announcement of ‘All You Need is Kill‘ set to be released in 2014.
Many congratulations & a huge thank you to Jonas for everything during the last six years! Wishing Jonas all the very best with what’s yet to come…
As a little treat, I made a Robin hood wallpaper (or with calendar for October), hope you guys like it! Nikki X
And so we say goodbye to the Summer of 2012 & August; Hello September! I can imagine many are not really looking forward to go back to school, college, Uni or work…hope the calendar wallpaper can cheer you up a bit
Twenty8K of course this month as it comes out in UK Cinemas! (also it’s Jonas Armstrong‘ debut in UK theaters). If you get a chance to see it in a cinema near you, don’t hesitate and book yourself a ticket!
Time really does fly by! August already *THUD* and yes still hoping someone out there sees sense and asks Jonas Armstrong to do some modelling work between acting projects Hope you guys enjoy X
